What is collective intelligence?+
Collective intelligence is what becomes visible when we bring our perspectives together. In a team, it is the understanding no single person holds alone: different roles, experiences and views of the same challenge, combined into a clearer picture and better decisions.
Why is collective intelligence important?+
Because most important challenges cross the boundaries of one role or department. When knowledge sits in silos, each group solves its own piece and decisions miss what others know. Bringing perspectives together helps a group see more of the situation, agree on what matters, and act with shared ownership.
Can you give an example?+
At Launch Club, two groups explored different sides of the same challenge. Bringing their perspectives together produced the direction the team then built: self-paced milestones with recurring support around members' most important needs.
What does a facilitator do in a Lab?+
I design the structure of the Lab and hold the conversation, so every perspective is heard, including the quiet ones, and the group can move from dialogue to priorities and next steps. The content comes from the people in the room.
When is a Lab the right format?+
When knowledge sits in silos or a challenge needs many perspectives. We start by understanding the need, who should be in the room, and how decisions are made in your organization, and the structure of the Lab follows from that.
Who should take part?+
We identify that together. Usually, the group needs people who know the challenge from different angles, people affected by the decision, and the people responsible for moving it forward. Customers or partners can add perspective when relevant.
How long is a Lab, and can it run online?+
From 2-hour labs to multi-day experiences, with tailored series available. Labs can run in person, online or hybrid. The right length depends on the question, the group, and how much preparation is needed. We agree on the format, timing, and tools around your people and the work.
How is a Lab different from Journey Consulting?+
A Lab is a focused gathering around a question or challenge. Journey Consulting connects discovery, collaborative work, and preparation for what comes next across a longer engagement. A Lab can be one part of that journey.
What happens after the Lab?+
We agree that with you, based on your need. A Lab can stand alone or open a longer journey. The team may carry the agreed actions forward independently, or we may include follow-up sessions to review learning and address obstacles. Any further support is agreed as part of the scope.
